Clinical Research Consultants CCRC Staff In 2002 Susan B. Marple MSN, NP, CCRC and Richard N. Marple MD, FACP, CCTI answered the call for excellence in the clinical research industry by organizing an independent site, Castlerock Clinical Research Consultants. All research personnel have completed certification for the following: SafTpak training for the shipment of Dangerous Goods, BCLS certification, as well as state licensure in their profession. Certification by the Association of Clinical Research Professionals is mandatory for all eligible employees. Richard N. Marple, MD, FACP, CPI functions as Medical Director for the site. Dr. Marple has many years of experience in Clinical Research functioning as Investigator, Principal Investigator and serving as a member of the local Institutional Review and Ethics Board. Dr. Marple is certified in clinical research by the Academy of Pharmaceutical Physicians and Investigators. Susan B. Marple MSN, NP, CCRC is CEO and Clinical Director of Castlerock CRC and has previous experience developing and operationalizing a clinical research site. Susan has extensive clinical trial experience serving as Clinical Director of an Institutional Research Site for many years before resigning to start Castlerock Clinical Research Consultants in 2002. Nurse practitioner, specialty areas include cardiology and endocrinology. Susan is certified in clinical research by the Association of Clinical Research Professionals. Joan Benedict Joan functions as regulatory specialist, ensuring that regulatory documents are completed and submitted in a timely manner. Joan meticulously maintains regulatory files, screens and schedules patient visits and serves as administrative assistant. Julia Miller, RN, CRC Julia has many years experience in pediatrics, both out-patient and in-patient. She has quickly adapted to the research environment and has become a valuable member of the Castlerock community. Tami Dillon, LPN, CRC Tami functions as lead study coordinator and is currently conducting several complex cardio-vascular clinical trials. Tami will be eligible to sit for ACRP certification in March, 2010. |
