Castlerock Diagnostic & Research Physicians CD&RP Philosophy As most of you know a doctor of internal medicine or “internist” focuses on adult medical care from the teenage years through old age. I, and all internists, have had special training that focuses on the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of adult illnesses. This involves 7 or 8 years of medical training after college and affords wide-ranging knowledge of the complex diseases that affect adults. Dr. Marple graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in the top 5% of his class and has degrees from the University of Tulsa and Washington University in St Louis in chemical engineering. Dr. Marple is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and has added qualifications in the treatment of sports-related diseases by this same board. He is also certified as a Clinical Research Investigator by the American Association of Clinical Research Professionals. With this knowledge and 25 years of experience in the practice of medicine, Dr. Marple and his team are your advocates and are available to help you navigate the increasingly complex world of health care. With this basic background information out of the way, Dr. Marple would like to discuss his philosophy of medical practice, and in addition make a promise to provide to you the most up to date and highest quality health care delivered in a caring, personalized manner. He and his team will endeavor to gain your trust and confidence, and over time hopefully become a friend and confidant to help you through life’s ordeals. |
